Mommy Issue a new - Originally posted 9/2/2015

Some days I just have to laugh at what are now my "mommy issues" of the day. I really need to start a blog because never in a million years did I ever think that I would be living the life of Green Acres......and I wouldn't change a single thing. Those of you who know me, I'm sure it's hard to picture. It just proves that you really can teach an old dog new tricks!

Here are few examples.........

1. our new cows have a runny nose and diarrhea......yes, this really is a concern! As in when your children had the same issue.
2. I have a crazy chicken who thinks she is a dog and follows me everywhere, likes to ride in the mule, thinks its okay to lay eggs in my garage, attempts to sneak in the house with my real dogs, if I am in the house....she finds the room I'm in and pecks on the window constantly.
3. last week I had hives EVERYWHERE due to cutting our rear pasture and apparently I am allergic to hay!
4. This is the icing on the cake......A few months ago we were burning limbs and the wind changed as I was throwing some on the pile and I fried my hair on one side of my head!!! I kid you not! My hair dresser really got a kick out of that story. Apparently, my girls love to share this story with their kiddos at school.
   
5. I have become Annie Oakley with a shot gun.......you have to protect your critters!
   
6. Mike Kincade is a smart guy, he knows when he has something good going on with his "hired hand" and doesn't even complain too much when I almost blow up his new tractor. As I told him, there were no flashing lights or warnings that it was overheating!!! After all he is responsible for keeping all the equipment in working order!
   

I hope this allowed you to have a good laugh, because I certainly laugh at myself daily!
