We are a small family farm with limited production and a focus on quality while humanely raising Aberdeen Angus. We sell steers direct to consumer and at also have some proven cows and calves available. Check with us late winter/early spring for your beef steer for processing as we have limited quantities. We sell replacement stock all year round. If you don't see what you are looking for give us a call with question and also schedule time to come see them if in the area.
Our cattle are open grazed on our pastures. We work to ensure as natural as possible, this means no hormones, minimum required vaccinations to ensure health, no/limited spot herbicides if needed (cattle moved if used), mineral supplements to keep healthy with occasional protein treat to help use manage them along with free choice mineral to supplement their diet. Finished either on grain (procured locally in Bedias, TX) or with pre-purchase can remain on grass.
Our clients aren’t faced with buying a 1600+ pound steer, unknown origins, finding friends to divide up or having product you can’t eat in a reasonable time AND with oversize cuts that, let’s be honest are too big for single servings. Health conscious people who like red meat are drawn to the smaller cuts of Aberdeen beef.
We target our steers in the +/- 800 pound range about 18-22 months . They do get bigger but we have found this is a good size and quality stage allowing you to still fill your freezer with 300+/- pounds of meat pending steer size, your choice of cuts, style and your processor. You buy steer direct from us, we will deliver (within reason) to a processor of your choice for you to have processed as you desire.
Thank you for your consideration. Here’s to your good life, good health and good eating! We aren't the best photographers and only have a few posted. Message or email us with questions.
Currently Available: Cows, heifers and calves available, plus taking reservations for processing next years steers.
